The Sun reporters write about Tandarei city, South Romania known in the British press following the case of a criminal network smuggling minors to Great Britain. The newspaper reads about the great luxurious villas in the city, worth over 500,000 sterling pounds in contrast to the peasants’ houses down the road. The newspaper reads that reporters were even threatened by a gipsy with a car registered in Great Britain.

According to Scotland Yard, over 100 villas in Tandarei were built by a mob of gypsies formed by 30 members, most of them relatives. The Sun wrote on Wednesday that eight of them were jailed after they obtained 800,000 sterling pounds from the British social assistance using false documents and fictive jobs.
