PM Emil Boc sent to the chief of state the proposal to name Sebastian Lazaroiu, former presidential counselor, as Labour minister, a press release of the government informs. The interim period assured by the Prime Minister ends today, June 3rd.

UPDATE President Traian Basescu signed the decree naming Sebastian Lazaroiu the new Labour minister, the Presidency informed. The new Labour minister will swear in at 6 PM.
Sebastian Lazaroiu gave up his position as presidential counselor on April 28 through a decree signed by President Basescu. He said that he wants to dedicate to the political analysis and does not want his analysis to be associated to the president.
