The World Bank revised the estimate of the economic advance of Romania to 1.6%, higher than the previous estimate but decrease the estimate for next year to 3.7% the Global Economic Prospects report reveals. Previously, the international financial institution estimated an increase of the Romanian economy by 1.5% this year and 4.4% in 2012.

WB analysts expect Romania’s economy to have a 4% advance in 2013. According to the report, in Central and Eastern Europe there will be an economic increase of 2.4% in 2011 and 3.8% next year following a moderate pace of 4% in 2013.
