Leaders of the Democratic Party and the Hungarian Democrats did not manage on Tuesday to reach an agreement on the territorial reorganization of the country. The representatives of the Hungarian minority said that they do not have the support from their representatives to accept the project according to some sources. According to some information related to the meeting, Democratic Liberals proposed 8 regions while Hungarian Democrats wants 16.

Sources said that no future meeting was set. Hungarian Democrats, part of the governing coalition with the Democratic Liberals oppose the project of the latter to reorganize the country. The project depends on the support of the Hungarian Democrats to pass in the Parliament.
