The New York Times: Romania’s wrangling politics worry EU states

The European Union states are increasingly concerned with Romania’s slow progress in fighting graft, The New York Times reads in its Thursday online edition.

The newspaper comments that there is little chance for political scandals to cease after the May 19 referendum.

According to analysts, the instability of the political stage will last until the 2008 elections, NY Times reads, quoting diplomacy sources.
