Eventim, the European leader in tickets sale for concert and shows, opened a branch in Romania, according to company press release. The German company will become an active player on the market at the beginning of 2007, for both for ticketing and as live shows organizer.
The show tickets will be sold both online (through partner websites) and in specialized sale points placed in major commercial centers. Buyers will be able to choose their seat.
Eventim sells some 40 million tickets every year for concerts, theatre opera and sport events, in 13 countries. The company handles the planning, organizing and production for open-air tours for bands and artists such as Madonna, Rolling Stones, Genesis and U2.
