Some Liberal deputies that were sanctioned with public warning for adopting a different position on the Romanian troops’ withdrawal from Iraq raised their voice on Friday and accused the Liberals’ leader Calin Popescu Tariceanu for pointing the finger towards them in order to creat a diversion from his own mistakes.
Two of the Liberals on the nominated list drew attention to the fact that being a Liberal member does not mean giving up own opinions, that should be encouraged in the perspective of the debate launched by the Liberals on Thursday evening regarding the destiny of the troops in Iraq.
