The Dreptate si Adevar D.A. Alliance (Justice and Truth) still occupies a first place in the Romanian electorate’s votes with 46% according to an INSOMAR poll conducted in the beginning of June on 1448 subjects.

The alliance is a joint political collaboration between the Democratic (PD) and Liberal (PNL) parties. The Social Democrats (PSD) enjoy 23% of the votes, while the Greater Romania Party (PRM) 14% and the New Generation Party (PNG) 6%. The Hungarian Democratic Union (UDMR) has 5% of the electorate’s votes.

Lagging behind with an insufficient 2% to make it for the Parliament is the Conservative Party (PC), currently in the governing algorithm besides the D.A Alliance and UDMR.

The Romanian president Traian Basescu keeps the first place in the electorate’s favourites with 56%. The runner up with 39% is, surprisingly, the female PNL deputy Mona Musca, former Culture minister, followed by former PNL leader and current presidency counsellor Theodor Stolojan, and the PNG leader and Steaua football club owner Gigi Becali. PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu takes the 8th palce.
