Peugeot will launch its 207 model on the Romanian market on June 1, 2006, the general Peugeot importer to Romania, Trust Motors, has announced. The model will be distributed on the Romanian market simultaneously with the Peogeot 2006 for at least two years.
The new car will face a considerable competition from Renault Clio and FIAT Grande Punto, but also from the strong offers of the VAG group – Volkswagen Polo, SEAT Ibiza and Skoda Fabia.
The starting price will be 1,000 euro above Peugeot 206, with a DDP starting at 12,562 euro.
