Two Romanian women were among the nine persons killed in the Tel Aviv terrorist attack on Monday, according to Radio Romania Actualitati. Another person, currently in serious condition in an Israeli hospital, has yet to be identified.

The two are Boda Pirosca, born in 1956 in the Romanian county of Salaj, and Pesenei Rosalia, born in 1958 in the county Maramures, according to passport data quoted by the source. The two were working in the social care for the elderly in Natania, north of Tel Aviv, and were enjoying their days off in the Israeli city.

Israeli security forces were in high alert on Tuesday as designated prime minister Ehud Olmert was to decide on possible measures against radical Islamic movement Hamas, following the Monday attack.
