An emergency ordinance on public procurement contracts will be presented in the Romanian Government’s next week session, as decided in a reunion of the Executive Committee of European Integration - CEIE presided by PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu, a Integration Ministry press release says.

The CEIE talks also let Justice minister Monica Macovei about two essential laws still to be introduced in the fight against corruption – one on the funding of political parties and one to establish a body to check wealth statements of Romanian leaders, their incompatibilities and conflicts of interest.
