The pre-tax income recorded by BRD - Groupe Societe Generale in 2005 amounted to 1,403 mln RON, up 17 per cent, compared to the previous year, a growth that reflected the steady development of the bank.
The total volume of loans reached 10.5 bln RON, out of which 42 per cent represents loans for private persons, up 86 per cent compared to previous year. The loans volume rose 38 per cent compared to 2004.
The net profit improved in 2005, up 43 per cent, reaching 576 mln RON.
The banking group extended its network in 2005 to 114 units BRD Express and to 1,7 mln customers.
