Renault Dacia, Romania's popular car brand, officially presented its new model Sandero in Geneve on Tuesday. The new car will enter the Romanian market starting with June 2008, the producer announced. Moreover, Dacia also decided to change its logo.

The price of the new model will range from 7,000 euro to 10,000 for its best equipped version, Automobile Dacia vice-president, Constantin Stroe told HotNews.ro. The Romanian factory will produce some 5-600 Sandero cars/day. Stroe added that Dacia is more flexible to the market demands and it would adapt its production according to them.

Officials argue that the total investment for the development and production of the new Dacia Sandero model in Europe amounts to 147 million euro: 65 million euro for development and 82 million euro for specific factory investments.

Dacia's new logo adopts a silverish color and symbolized modernity, simplicity and fiability. Blue, the traditional color of the model, is still present but has a profound and noble look, Renault officials argue.
