Dacia sales increased by almost 40% in France

Dacia sold in France, last year about 61,000 cars, a 39.5% increase compared to 2008, the French Constructors Committee data show. New car registered increased by 10.7% to about 2.27 million cars marking the best result since 1990. Internal producers own 54% of the market and among foreigners, Volkswagen is best ranked, with 11% of the market.
Last year, new registered cars increased by 10.7% in France to 2.27 million units. Renault leads the market, with a 22.3% market share, after sales exceeded 505.000 units. The second place is occupied by Peugeot with 16.6% and the third by Citroen with 15% of the market.

Dacia was the brand that increased the most last year, from 43,700 cars in 2008 to 60,700 last year. The market share of the brand reached 2.7% from 2.1% last year.
