After a month and a half of activity in the fall session, Romania's House of Deputies will go on electoral holiday on October 15, prior to the campaign leading to the parliamentary elections later this fall.

As many MPs run for a new term, deputies will leave for electoral campaign and while "working in the field" they will continue to be paid by the Romanian Parliament.

For November alone, the state will pay 46.8 billion RON for 312 deputies on electoral holiday.

The schedule of the House for the next two weeks includes 233 bills under emergency procedure. All must be debated during as few as four plenary sessions.
