Prime minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu may not win a seat in the Parliament, after winning 45.8% of the votes in his electoral college, representing 10,121 of the votes. In order to win a seat in the Parliament, 12,542 votes were required. After the votes re-allocation, another candidate seems to win 18 votes more than Tariceanu. In fact, most important Liberal leaders failed to obtain over 50% in their colleges.
