





Top car brands in Europe: Volkswagen leads with 11%, followed by Ford, Fiat and Opel. Dacia increased to 1.4%
In the 28 countries included in the statistics, some 4.7 million new cars were sold in the first four months of the year, compared to 5.58 million in January-April 2008. Volkswagen managed to increase its market share from 10% to 11.3%, followed by Ford with 9.1%.
Dacia's market share increased from 1.1% to 1.4% and its sales increased by 6% to 65,000 cars.
