The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control announced on Tuesday 212 new A/H1N1 confirmed cases in Europe in the last 24 hours. Moreover, the World Health Organization announced that the number of deaths caused by the virus amounts to 700, Xinhua agency informs.

Some 86 new cases were confirmed in Germany, 38 in Denmark, 21 in Switzerland, 12 in Portugal, 11 in Ireland, 8 in Norway, Romania and Slovenia, 7 in Austria, 4 in Iceland and Bulgaria, 2 in Malta and one in Slovenia, Czech Republic and Latvia, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
