The official premiere of the film "The Concert" directed by Romanian Radu Mihaileanu took place on Sunday evening, at the International Film Festival in Rome, outside the competition. The film is scheduled for a launch in Paris on November 4, and on November 20 it will be screened for the first time in Bucharest, according to Radio Romania Actualitati.

60% of the scenes have been shot in Romania and the rest - in Paris and Moscow.

Radu Mihaileanu explains that the film's message is that the human nature needs dignity. Human beings can be brought to their knees, like it happened to the people under Ceausescu's dictatorship. But the moment people redeem their human dignity, they can become great humans.

"The Concert" is a metaphor, claiming that the ideal society is the one offering a balance between the community and the individual, the director believes.

Radu Mihaileanu's film was sold worldwide starting May, but with problems in Russia and Ukraine.
