Le Courrier International: Romanian pride prostests on the Internet as Romanian hackers attack Le Monde's website

After they attacked the British website The Daily Telegraph, Romanian hackers, who called themselves the Romanian National Security attacked the website of the French daily Le Monde. On April 19, the Romanian flag appeared on the screen, together with a threat.

The text on the Romanian flag read that "This is not a resistance, protest move. Gypsies are not Romanians. They did not write history. When you talk about Romanians, do not name Gypsies Romanians. We respected France, respect Romania in turn.", Le Courrier International reads.

Hacker attacks come after a delicate moment for the image of Romanians. revealed on Monday that, in a TV show, Jonathan Lambert mocked the Romanians, connecting the Roman salute with the Romanian salute, more specifically the salute of the Romanian beggars on the streets.
