The Executive approved, on Sunday, the final version of the memorandum on Nabucco. The agreement will be signed on behalf of Romania by PM Emil Boc, the government's spokesperson Ioana Muntean informed.

UPDATE: PM Emil Boc declared on Monday, before his departure to the intergovernmental summit on Nabucco that the project is efficient from an economic perspective and less costly than other initiatives in the region.

The final form of the memorandum took into accout the latest June negotiations among partner states. The memorandum was sent on Sunday night to President Basescu, for approval and on Monday, PM Boc will sign the intergovernmental agreement in Ankarra, Turkey.

Four other countries are part of the project: Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary and Austria.
