Romania and Hungary need to lobby at the European level for the creation of an emergency unit for emergency situations like the ecological accident that occured recently in Aika Hungarian city, Romanian President Traian Basescu and his Hungarian counterpart Pal Schmitt declared after a meeting on Monday at Controceni, Romanian news agency Agerpres informs.
We analyzed the possibilities and we concluded that Romania and Hungary should set up a task force for emergency situations, Basescu declared. Moreover, he underlined that Romania was not affected by the incident.
