Anti graft prosecutors indicted businessmen George Becali, Victor Babiuc, Dumitru Cioflina and Ioana Anca Babiuc in the file involving a series of terrains of the Defense ministry. The state’s prejudice is evaluated at almost 900,000 dollars and prosecutors imposed distraint upon the wealth of the three.

- Dumitru Cioflina – former state secretary in the Defense ministry is accused of abuse in service, contrary to the public interest
- Victor Babiuc – former Defense minister during 1997 – 2000 is accused of abuse in service against public interests and bribe taking
- Ioana Babiuc – accused of complicity to bribe taking
- Gigi Becali – accused of complicity to abuse in service against public interests As administrator of several terrains, the
Defense ministry exchanged two of them with businessman Gigi Becali which prejudiced the state with 892,758 dollars.
