President Traian Basescu invited all parliamentary parties for consultations on Monday, at 3PM. The main subjects are the social and economic perspectives for the next two years, joining Schengen and the legislative priorities of the end of the year.
According to the presidential administration, President Basescu sent on Thursday an official letter to all parliamentary parties and all groups represented in the Parliament inviting them all at Cotroceni for talks.
The Social Democrats announced that they will decide on Monday whether to participate or not. The Liberals maintain their decision not to attend consultations initiated by the President. The governing coalition, the Hungarian Democrats and the Democrat Liberals announced that they attend the meeting.
