Hungarian Democrats cannot accept the project put forward by their governing partners, the Democratic Liberals to reorganize Romania in eight super regions and warns that if PDL goes forward with this, they will not longer have majority in the Parliament, Hungarian Democrats leader Kelemen Hunor declared quoted by news agency Mediafax.

We said on Tuesday that we cannot accept the project put forward by our governing partners because we do not have the support of our representatives for this project, Hunor said. He underlined that his party proposes a 16 regions project. When prompted about the problems faced if PDL will continue to sustain their project, Hunor said that his party will not back them up and therefore PDL will lose majority in the parliament.

He said political parties in the governing coalition will continue talks on the territorial reorganization issue at the political level.
